im looking for a game that is similar to civilization iv. its a gift for a friend and he plays civilization iv on his pc a lot. he plays ps2 as well but there games like baseball, football and i think he has a boxing game. i wanted to get him another game that he would like but don't know much about video games.

if you want to spend about $70-$80 get Command and Conquer 4 tiberium twilight or for around $20 get command and Conquer 3 tiberium wars they are both fantastic good graphics and game play defiantly worth getting.What Civilization IV like game should i get?
The closest game I've ever played to civilization 4 is "Empire: Dawn of the modern world" but that's a really old game..Civ 5 is coming out sometime in the future, so look into that. :]
If he likes the strategy on board games, maybe he'll like total war?
