I just bought a Vista PC and downloaded Civ IV - it worked great. Subsequently I loaded Photoshop CS2, AdAware %26amp; the 90 day trial of CA Antivirus. Now Civ IV freezes at startup. Any ideas on how to fix this?How do I run Civilization IV in Vista?
You probably clobbered one of Civ's DLLs. Try navigating to Civ's .exe file and right-clicking on the .exe. Then, select Properties. Once the Properties open, choose the compatibility mode for XP.
