me and my friend have been trying to use the IP option for multiplayer civilization IV but we can't seem to get it to work. Either I type in his IP address or he types in mine. The computer says "connecting to host", and then it says "the connection timed out". What do we have to do to get it to work?How do you use civilization IV's IP connection multiplayer?
make sure ure using the right ip address
go to whatismyip.com to find out or maybe ur behind a router then you need that ip like the one that starts with 192 something
try both
