The first to discover Theology founds Christianity. If the AI beats you to it, you can capture the holy city and take control of the benefits. When you get a great prophet, build the Church of the Nativity in the founding city to help spread it or use missionaries.

It actually stands for Cannot Talk Or Negotiate. It's meant to be a blitz style way of playing free for all multiplayer Civ.

Try searching eBay. Yeah, you still have to buy it, but there's several copies for sale at rock-bottom prices, and it's a heckuva lot more legal than trying to download it (it's also a lot less work too :).
